The Digital Initiative

I spent two years at Harvard Business School's Digital Initiative (DI), as a technologist, designer, and product strategist. Outside my responsibilities to Open Knowledge, I acted as in-house design for many DI projects. Many times this meant a delicate balancing act between honoring the HBS brand guidelines, and appealing to a tech-centric audience. Eventually this somewhat rogue work even led to a broader conversation with the HBS marketing department, who has since begun updating their guidelines to meet modern web standards.  Below are a sampling of media produced.
